A chronic problem for marine dealerships has been finding talented website designers that understand the marine industry. Even if they found a good web development company, their website was a separate entity from their dealership software package. This meant that all ordered, new and used boat inventory had to be hand entered in their dealership system and then re-entered onto the website. Since this was an entirely manual system there are always errors, lags in getting boats listed, etc… WinboatsWeb solves both of these issues and more.
WinboatsWeb attacks the problem with a tiered approach to dealership websites. The first tier allows a dealerships current website to have a redirect pointing to a WinboatsWeb server for their ordered, new and used boats. The WinboatsWeb server is updated whenever the dealership wants by a few mouse clicks in the Winboats program. This gives the dealership an easy, effortless and low cost method to have a professional stock page of their boats on the web. If the dealership is ready for a new updated website, then the WinboatsWeb team can create either a simple template site or a fully customized solution depending on their budget. Because the WinboatsWeb sites are created using the WebKit framework, it is simple for the dealership to maintain and change all content, and all web pages, including photos, blogs and more on their website.
Other important benefits of the WinboatsWeb solution is that the boat listings contain a complete list of standards and options on the boats, including colors for every part of the boat! When a customer requests further information on the boat, the inquiry is emailed to the dealership and automatically transferred to Winboats at the dealership via the Winboats Lead Scanner, where they can be responded to and tracked.
